The Hand Table was designed by a hand surgeon and is in use by hand surgeons across the United States. The Hand Table is the result of the unlikely pairing of two industry professionals, a hand surgeon with a need; and his patient, a business owner with over 40 years of industry experience designing and building custom metal products to meet the unique needs of his clients.

The simplistic ‘stack’ design of the table includes a support platform, drain pan and a fenestrated frame. Stainless steel skin hooks, thumb loop retractors, and hook and loop tape stabilize the hand and retract the tissue providing surgeons with unobstructed access to the surgical site.

The Hand Table provides ‘another pair of hands’ (or two) increasing efficiency for the surgeon and the surgical team.  The solid stainless-steel construction of The Hand Table is a cost-effective sustainable alternative to traditional hand surgery support systems. 

Combining his metal design and manufacturing experience with his wife’s 35 years of healthcare experience, The Hand Table is manufactured and distributed by husband-and-wife team, Nat and Tricia Canella.
